This White Paper describes the insights from the three projects on the potential of 5G technology, compared to 4G, for supporting Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) services, particularly in cross-border contexts; the different solutions trialled and assessed, namely edge computing capabilities (MEC), and their implications towards cross-border service continuity were evaluated; and their deployment recommendations.
